Are you also a follower of Jesus?

Not everyone who says they know Jesus and calls themselves a Christian actually follows Jesus Christ. It turns out that many people follow each other and compare themselves with the majority of "believers" and on this basis they think that they are Christians. This goes against the simple Word of God (the Bible). This is what Jesus says about it:

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14

Few people will find it! Because many do not want to continue walking on this path, Jesus himself is this Way that leads to life, see:

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6

So we must continue to walk in this Way, this means that we must abide in Him and we do this by walking as He walked, this is also a command:

“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”
1 John 2:6

So let's read the Word of God daily (the spiritual food for our body) and above all, DO IT! See what our Example Jesus our Messiah says about this:

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock”
Matthew 7:21-24

So let us not just say “Lord Lord” and make it seem like we know Him, but let us actually walk as He walked, this shows that we are true followers of Jesus.
